British Master Barber Guest Spot
We are looking for talented Barbers that maybe willing to offer themselves to guest spot at other barbershops around the UK. The idea would simply for us to create a web page that will act as a guide to allow barbershops to find out who are willing and how to get in touch with guest spot barbers. All details, dates, arrangements, fees and travel costs would have to be negotiated between the barbershop and the guest spotter.

I live and work in Coventry West midlands. I own two barbershops in Coventry city centre with a third opening 2017. I also teach at our local barbering college and guest teach at the Sid Sottung academy
2009 I made it to the finalist of Britain's best shave but could not attend live finals due to work reasons.
2015 I became one of the youngest NVQ assessors in barbering in the country and am currently progressing with my education.
2015 I was selected into the lock stock and barrel and the Sid Sottung academy creative team.
2016 I had a guest spot for 1 month at the prestigious Eddine Belaide barbershop and hair salon Zurich, Switzerland
From this I acquired a permanent guest spot for one week every second month at the barbershop and salon.
2016 I was the first guest teacher the Sid Sottung Academy has had.
I have since worked alongside Sid on many different things within the barbering industry.

I am a 45 year old Barber who has been in our craft for over 27 years,
I am a Barber who was trained in all traditional styles of gents hairdressing as well as certain aspects of the ladies side including colouring and blow drying,
I have always done my very best to stay current and up to date with all the new or as I call them improved aspects of cutting and shaving which basically means that I have accepted and learnt that there is now a new philosophy in our craft and that the younger barbers coming through are much more aware of the styling and shaping of hair, that is not to say that I don’t do the traditional but it does mean that I am much more adaptable and aware of what is now expected , It is great to be able to show a fusion between the modern traditional cuts coming through and accepting that ladies styling techniques are being used in the barber shop, for me this only adds to the experience and anything that is good for the customer is good for us all .

I started my career in barbering at the age of 16 loved it from the moment I started now 34 I have vast experience and I was very fortunate to have worked with quality barbers as my mentors mark Hudson (Hudsonbarbers) Lee horsey (founder of fresh heads) and kev vorley (grand master barber and owner of k barbers emporium), after working with these excellent barbers mastering my skills I opened my own shop in 2007 where we are going from strength to strength .
Achievements: in 2016 I got picked for the live final at British master barbers barber battle and out of hundreds of participants I came 2nd in the UK barber battle live at Celtic manor
Future : I'm currently working on my assessing and teaching qualification to one day have my own academy to inspire a future crop of talent into this great business.
