ACCREDITATION

The British Master Barbers Alliance has been designed to help established Barbers promote their Barbershops profile and stand out to potential customers amongst the busy crowds of barbershops popping up.

Customers never ask to see barbers qualifications or proof of skill and this is why we have created the British Master Barbers Accreditation, A verification of the barber's talent in the form of a beautifully

crafted metal plaque.

A sign customers can trust and the

barber can be proud of.

  • Only open to fully subscribed Individual and barbershop members who must complete our set criteria.

IS ACCREDITATION COMPULSORY?

Our accreditation service is by no means compulsory and is only recommended to barbers who understand the importance of keeping at the top of their game and continually chase goals to better themselves. This accreditation should be seen as a personal achievement and a level that your customers can be confident with.

DOES IT MAKE ME A BETTER BARBER THAN EVERYONE ELSE?

The simple answer is No.

Everybody knows that you never stop learning and our accreditation is a confirmation of your industry achievements. Our accreditation is a minimum set level that provides a stepping stone to keep you enthused about the industry and help you promote your industry profile. Continuing your barbering journey to higher knowledge and skill set is a must at any level of competence and down to you to keep pushing the standard higher.

WHAT IF I'VE LOST OR DON'T HOLD FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS?

We understand that qualifications may get lost over time or you may have learnt barbering in an apprenticeship based or mentorship training. If this is the case don't worry you can still apply for our Professional Barber level and work your way up. If you hold our Professional level for two years you can then apply for Master Barber level. This allows us to see that you have held time within the industry.
